The sky is the limit
We believe vertical farms will change the future of food production in Canada. As this method of farming grows in popularity, it’s going to transform the way we think of sustainability, food security, and fresh produce. There’s no stopping us from doing good.
In our farms, greens and herbs are grown on multiple layers in a limited surface area, or in so-called towers. The crops rely on artificial light and are housed in converted shipping containers. The farms look a bit like science labs, but everything is all-natural. The controlled growing conditions means we don’t have to use pesticides to keep the plants healthy.
Watching plants grow might not sound terribly exciting. But when you begin to understand the technological innovations behind vertical farming, it’s quite another story. If you’re curious to see how everything goes down (or rather, up), we’d love to give you a tour.
